About the Opportunity
Chinchilla Christian College now has two new and exciting opportunities available for a Primary Teacher and a Secondary Maths Teacher to join their team in the Western Downs region on a full-time basis.
The main responsibilities of these roles include teaching with our values, our mission and our vision.
The Primary Teacher role will see you coordinating the learning and teachings of a Year 6 primary class, with the assistant and support of one other teacher in that year level.
The Secondary Maths Teacher encompasses responsibilities for teaching mathematics to a combination of Year 7-12 classes, as well as homeroom teacher duties.
To be successful in this role, you will be registered or eligible to register with the Queensland College of Teachers and ideally, hold a Bachelor of Education. Chinchilla Christian College is open to new graduates applying for the position provided they uphold the Christian values of the school.
Your organisational skills and your ability to prioritise, meet schedules and deadlines will be an asset to this role. Managing student behaviour and assisting the students in the pastoral area of education are an important part of the position.
It is important in this role that the right candidate will teach within the guidelines of the college and carry the values of the school into their everyday life.
About the Benefits
In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary circa $70,000 - $100,000 plus super. Additionally, Chinchilla Christian College offers salary packaging options and dedicated professional development days for all teachers.
