About the Opportunity

AUS-MEAT Limited has a rare opportunity for a Field Auditor to join their Queensland team. This is a remote/mobile based role, working from home and attending client sites across the State.

Your responsibility in this position is to conduct objective and reputable audit assessments with professionalism and integrity, in line with AUS-MEAT's Quality Policy, Code of Conduct and certified program requirements.

This will be achieved through:

  • Conducting audit process in compliance with documented program standards and procedures;
  • Providing timely, accurate and complete audit plans and reports;
  • Building positive client relationships and progressing the AUS-MEAT reputation through excellent service;
  • Submitting invoicing and costing data;
  • Planning and maintaining up to date audit schedules;
  • Communicating improvement opportunities to clients; and
  • Other duties as required.

About You

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of industry and compliance practices in addition to tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Agribusiness, food science or another related discipline.

It is essential that if you do not already hold Lead Auditor Food Safety qualifications, you are willing to undertake this certification upon commencement.

You will need to have strong knowledge and understanding of auditing processes and have professional and clear report writing skills.

Through your natural interpersonal communication skills, you will be able to successfully forge strong business relationships with clients.

Due to this being a remote and mobile role, you must be self-motivated, highly organised, able to work autonomously and capable of undertaking extensive local, intrastate and occasional interstate travel.

Please note: You will need a clear national police history check and an open Drivers Licence.

Please note, due to this role being remote/mobile based, you may be located in any part of Queensland but you must be able to undertake regular travel to all required sites. The travel coordinator will organise any flights and accommodation required for intrastate travel if required.
