About the role: The Community & Stakeholder Engagement Officer is a critical role to ensure strategic relationships and field marketing opportunities are developed. This position will be responsible for the ground-up creation coordination and implementation of donor, volunteer, customer and external stakeholder acquisitions, & engagements activities for various fundraising programs events and projects.

You will also be responsible for;

  • Co-design the community and stakeholder engagement plan to increase community and stakeholder engagement consultation and relationships.
  • Support the delivery of the community and stakeholder engagement plans
  • Obtain and retain corporate partnerships and sponsorships
  • Lead field-marketing programs and initiatives including expos, open days and industry events.
  • Increase brand and organisational awareness
  • Volunteer management of internal, corporate and public stakeholders
  • Budget management and event coordination with logistics and operations.

About you: You will have extensive business development, relationship management or community/stakeholder engagement experience in the not-for-profit sector while bringing with you;

  • High level written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks, balancing urgent work with long-term service delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy, and ability to build relationships internally and externally with stakeholders.

Mandatory requirements Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card), Working with Children Check (Blue card), National Criminal History check, Driver’s License and will need to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (link to complete https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au)
